About WexPats

WexPats was formed form a group of friends as a way to get out and get to play golf and introduce some healthy competition. A number of our members are also avid golfers who are members of various clubs. Members are spread around the country mainly around Leinster, but we mostly all have one thing in common, we all are original from, or currently live in Co Wexford. The name WexPats signifies the members common heritage, even if some of us are away from the county from time to time.

Being from Wexford is not the only thing we have in common, we all have a love for the craic and the banter. Making it a very fun group to play golf with. Also there is no prerequisite to hail from Wexford, we take pity on those who don't and invite them into the group. There may even be the odd Kilkenny lad, or Englishman invited.

David O'Brien

Some call him captain extraordinaire, other are merely in awe of his genius. Your self elected society captain for 2022, David O'Brien has over 4 days of society golf organizing experience. Its may also interesting to know that he curates this website.

David Bradley

Acting as Vice Captain and chair of the handicap committee David is very experienced in expressing his opinion and dictating what needs to be done. David's talents are many, but all are a shadow to his MC abilities, so we presume he will take great pleasure is the prize giving ceremony's.

Graham Bradley

Graham "the Chap" Bradley is the only member of the organizing committee to actually be a member of a golf club, and will serve as club treasurer. Chap has also been chairman of various clubs and committees including the local soccer club and he is known in Newbawn to love a good committee. Described by many as the king of Newbawn, chap can be found cutting grass on various pitches thoughout the parish when not playing golf.
